Wizyta niedźwiedzia w szpitalu: pielęgniarka odkryła coś, czego się nie spodziewała
Cisza pod powierzchnią
Wreszcie z otchłani ciemności, w której znajdował się Peter, rozległ się jego głos: “Hanna, musisz to zobaczyć!” zawołał, a w jego słowach słychać było mieszaninę szoku i strachu, które odbijały się echem od ścian studni. Serce Hanny przyspieszyło, gdy ostrożnie podeszła kilka kroków bliżej. Zaglądając w mrok, rozświetlony jedynie latarką Petera, dostrzegła ruch – sylwetki przesuwające się w cieniach. Były niemal identyczne jak stworzenie, które niedźwiedź przyniósł do szpitala. Fala zimnego zrozumienia przeszyła ją, wywołując dreszcz na całym ciele. Nie byli tam sami. Niedźwiedź i zamieszanie w szpitalu były tylko fragmentem czegoś znacznie większego, czegoś ukrytego głęboko pod ziemią: “To te same stworzenia, Hanna!” zawołał Peter, a jego głos zadrżał, gdy ponownie ją przywołał.
