Lauren Sesselmann – Von den USA zum kanadischen Fußballglück
Lauren Sesselmann stammt aus Wisconsin, aber ihre Fußballreise führte sie weit über die US-Grenzen hinaus. Schon früh kickte sie sich durch verschiedene Profi-Teams in den USA, darunter „Atlanta Beat“ und „FC Kansas City“. Doch ihre kanadischen Wurzeln öffneten ihr eine neue Tür: die zur Nationalmannschaft Kanadas.
Dort feierte sie große Erfolge – 2011 gab es Gold bei den Panamerikanischen Spielen, 2012 folgte Bronze bei Olympia in London. Ihre Vielseitigkeit und Ausdauer machten sie zum festen Bestandteil des Teams. Aktuell steht sie bei „Santa Clarita Blue Heat“ in Kalifornien unter Vertrag und zeigt dort, dass ihre Leidenschaft für Fußball ungebrochen ist – kraftvoll, erfahren und mit jeder Menge Teamgeist.
