Camila Giorgi – Power, Präzision und ein stilvoller Abschied
Camila Giorgi fiel früh durch ihr kompromissloses, kraftvolles Spiel auf – und durch eine Karriere, die alles andere als gewöhnlich verlief. Die Italienerin begann im Kindesalter mit dem Tennissport, trainierte hart und schaffte es mit explosiven Grundschlägen in die internationale Spitze. 2018 gewann sie ihren zweiten WTA-Titel und knackte erstmals die Top 30 der Weltrangliste.
2021 sorgte sie erneut für Aufsehen, als sie das prestigeträchtige Turnier in Montreal gewann – ein Höhepunkt ihrer Laufbahn. Neben dem Court war sie oft wegen ihres Looks im Gespräch, doch auf dem Platz überzeugte sie mit Leistung. Im Mai 2024 verabschiedete sie sich vom Profitennis – stark, elegant und mit bleibendem Eindruck.
