KLAAS-JAN HUNTELAAR EN MADDY SCHOOLDERMAN – EEN GEMEENSCHAPPELIJK PAD SINDS 2000
In zijn jonge jaren als voetballer ontmoette Klaas-Jan Huntelaar zijn levenspartner Maddy Schoolderman. Aanvankelijk deelden zij hun bestaan in Amsterdam, waar Maddy werkzaam was als lerares. Echter, met de groei van Huntelaars carrière en aantrekkelijke aanbiedingen uit Spanje, Italië en Duitsland, kozen zij voor een leven in het buitenland. Maddy gaf haar professionele ambities op om haar partner alle kansen te bieden en vergezelde hem op deze reis. Tegenwoordig kijken zij terug op een leven vol overvloedig geluk, waaronder de geboorte van hun vier kinderen. Nu Huntelaars succesvolle voetbalcarrière geleidelijk ten einde loopt, verheugt hij zich op het koesteren van meer waardevolle momenten met zijn gezin.
