Passie op het Veld, Maar Ook Thuis: Voetbalsterren Die Op Alle Fronten Scoren
MARCO VAN BASTEN EN LIESBETH VAN CAPELLEVEEN – EEN HECHTE BAND SINDS 1986
Marco van Basten, een uitzonderlijk talent bij Ajax en AC Milaan, realiseerde meer dan 200 doelpunten gedurende zijn loopbaan. Een blessure dwong hem echter tot een vroegtijdig afscheid van het professionele voetbal. Kort voor zijn overstap naar Italië ontmoette hij zijn partner Liesbeth van Capelleveen. In de jaren negentig bood zij hem steun tijdens zijn moeilijke herstelperiode en inspireerde hem om de trainerswereld te betreden, wat resulteerde in successen bij AZ en Ajax. Ondanks enkele relationele uitdagingen bezegelden Marco en Liesbeth hun liefde in 1993 met het huwelijk. Sindsdien heeft het paar drie kinderen verwelkomd in hun gezin. Zo is het verhaal van Marco van Basten niet enkel een kroniek van voetbalprestaties, maar tevens een liefdesgeschiedenis die ondanks tegenslagen standhoudt.
