Jane Hill, known for her role as a BBC news anchor, met BBC camera operator Sara Shepherd in the early 2000s while on the job. In 2011, Jane shared their engagement on Twitter, giving fans a glimpse into their joy.
The couple celebrated a civil partnership in 2013, building a cozy life together in North London with their dog, Mavis. When Jane faced a breast cancer diagnosis in 2018, she opted for a mastectomy without reconstruction, with Sara by her side every step, reinforcing their enduring partnership.
