Senta Berger – It doesn’t always have to be caviar, born in 1941

Senta Berger was born in Vienna and grew up there too. As the daughter of a musician, composer and conductor, she performed at the age of four, at the side of her father. When she was 9, she had her first film role. But her career really got going “only” at the age of 16, at the side of Yul Brynner. She first had theater engagements, then she was so successful in German films like It doesn’t always have to be caviar that Hollywood called her, where she stayed for a total of 7 years. After her return to Europe she got roles in Italian and French productions. She also starred under the direction of her husband Michael Verhoeven, whom she married in 1966 and with whom she has two sons who also work in the acting industry. Even at 80, Senta still looks stunning.
