Attrice e autrice di libri per bambini, Jamie Lee Curtis è attiva dal 1978, anno in cui ha debuttato con successo nel film di John Carpenter Halloween. Questo le ha decretato la definizione di Scream Queen per eccellenza. Il film ha anche avuto un paio di sequel intitolati Halloween: 20 Anni Dopo e Halloween nel 2018.
Ha anche avuto successo in ruoli in film comici come Una Poltrona per Due e Quel pazzo venerdì. Jamie Lee è sposata con Christopher Guest e ha adottato due bambini. È stata vista l’ultima volta nel 2018 nel film An Acceptable Loss – Decisione Estrema.
