Jack Lemmon – Some Like It Hot

Jerry (Jack Lemmon), a jazz double bass player, and his friend and bandmate Joe (Tony Curtis), a saxophone player, witness a gang crime and decide to flee the state. They disguise themselves as Daphne and Josephine and join an all-female band with Sugar Kane (Marilyn Monroe) as their lead singer.

This was the plot of one of the greatest films of all time, Some Like It Hot, which was released in 1959. The movie was a great success. It was, however, rumored to have been condemned by the Roman Catholic Church for being morally objectionable.
