Após ter desaparecido de Hollywood alguns anos atrás, Michelle Pfeiffer parece estar pronta para um retorno. No início, essa atriz foi rainha num concurso de beleza da Califórnia, antes de aparecer em filmes como De Caso com a Máfia, Scarface e Ligações Perigosas, com o qual ganhou um prêmio BAFTA pela melhor atriz secundária.
Durante muitos anos, a atriz foi fumante. Um dia desistiu, antes de ter procurado qualquer clínica de reabilitação, e se juntou à Associação Americana contra o Câncer, onde se dedicou a ajudar pessoas. A atriz é a prova que o vício pode ser superado.
