The subscription-based streaming service, Netflix has been making a ton of money with its success worldwide. It has already gained more than 148 million paid subscribers across the globe. Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph aren’t the only ones getting rich though.

Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck earned $8 million for starring in Netflix's action-thriller movie, Triple Frontier

A lot of celebrities are taking home big paychecks as the streaming platform continues to dominate the scene. Netflix has been investing a huge amount of money on Hollywood stars such as Ben Affleck who earned $8 million to star in the action-thriller film Triple Frontier.

The web movie received numerous acclaims from the critics although, some wished the filmmakers added more humor in it. For the audience to remain entertained during an action-packed money heist movie, witty inside jokes are necessary. Overall, it still got a fair approval rating of 71% out of the 113 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson, and Ryan Reynolds

Netflix is paying Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot $20 million each for starring in Red Notice, and Dwayne Johnson is expected to earn more than that quote

Netflix also recruited Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson to work with them on the upcoming action movie, Red Notice. The budget for the film ranges between $160 million and $200 million, and Gadot is taking $20 million out of it, while Netflix promised Johnson to make more millions since he’s also acting as the project’s primary producer.

It is not the first time that Johnson and the film’s writer, director, and producer, Rawson Marshall have worked together, so everyone is expecting a masterpiece. The two teamed up on Central Intelligence and Skyscraper in the past.

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds also received a $20 million offer to make an appearance in Red Notice. But, his biggest salary would be from the upcoming vigilante action movie, Six Underground. Based on the reports, Reynolds would score $27 million from Michael Bay’s film that will debut in late 2019.

Will Smith

Will Smith is set to do a sequel for the movie Bright and would earn $35 million out of it

The American actor, Will Smith also earned big bucks from Netflix. The urban fantasy crime movie, Bright gained bad reviews from the critics, but the viewers loved the film. In fact, It became one of the platform’s most-watched programs ever.

Due to the epic success of the first installment, Netflix is splashing out a whopping $35 million to sign Will Smith to do a sequel. Compared to the film’s potential in making tons of profit, I’m sure that’s just a penny for the company.

Adam Sandler

And of course, Adam Sandler who’s been working with Netflix for quite some time now definitely scored the most. In 2017, he made a deal with the company to make four movies in exchange for a $250 million salary. And since Adam Sandler is Adam Sandler, Netflix couldn’t say no to one of their biggest stars.
