Jaleel White is one of the lucky few to have such a long and active career as an actor, which started when he was only three years old with a small guest appearance on The Jeffersons in 1984. But perhaps his most notable child role was in the TV serial Family Matters, in which he played the character of Steve Urkel. White developed a very long-standing association with the show, eventually writing highly-rated episodes for it at one point in time as well. He has written and produced a few pieces in the years after Family Matters but is now back to making an investment of his time doing acting jobs.
