13 Child Stars All Grown Up – Some Are Super Successful & Some Might Need To Rely On Parent’s Money

Many Hollywood actors and actresses have a career that spans a few decades, if not more, and we’ve gotten so used to them that it seems like they started out famous. But you’ll be shocked to know just how early some of our favorite celebrities started working in front of the camera, and how some of them were making money (more than some of us make in our entire life) before turning ten. But some faded away, either due to lost interest in the industry to circumstances which compelled them to stop acting. Regardless, here is a list of all your favorite actors and actresses you saw as kids in films, and a peek into what they’re doing now.

Jeff Cohen – Chunk – 45, Attorney

Although he started acting in 1983, his first prominent role was in the 1985 film titled The Goonies, in which he played the memorable character of Chunk with such perfection that he imprinted his image into our minds forever. However, after a few TV roles until 1991, Jeff Cohen realized he should be on the business side of Hollywood and, noticing how many businessmen in the entertainment industry had law degrees, he too went ahead and enrolled in a law program at the University of California in L.A. He graduated with a J.D. degree in 2000 and eventually founded his own law firm called Cohen & Gardner in 2002. He has done quite well for himself as a lawyer, and in all likelihood, he’s now reaping the dividends of his hard work.

Hayden Panettiere – Sarah Roberts – 30, Actress & Singer

Hayden Panettiere kicked off her career reportedly at 11 months old, by appearing in a commercial. By four, she was cast to play the character of Sarah Roberts in the TV show One Life to Live, on which she appeared from 1994 to 1997. She also played the character of Lizzie Spaulding in the show Guiding Light from 1996 to the year 2000. When she turned ten, she got a role in Remember the Titans, a feature film by Disney. She appeared in a few films after that, including Racing Stripes and Ice Princess in 2005, Bring It On: All or Nothing in 2006, and I Love You, Beth Cooper in 2009. From 2006 to 2010, she was also one of the leads on the hit TV show Heroes, which surprisingly got canceled very abruptly. Her portfolio also includes playing Juliette Barnes in the TV show, Nashville.

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson – As Herself on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo – 14, TV Personality

Alana Thompson, most known as Honey Boo Boo, first appeared in the television child beauty pageant, Toddlers And Tiaras. The show’s producers saw that Thompson would be a good investment for TLC, so they gave her her own show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. The young girl, now 14, became a celebrity, just like her mother Mama June. The famous mother-and-daughter duo makes a lot of cash, though they should both be very careful with their fitness, especially in Hollywood which gives premium to one’s physicality. Back in 2018, she competed in Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.
