Na szczęście, gdy niedźwiedź zbliżył się na kilka metrów, nagle się zatrzymał. Jej szybki ruch i ulga malująca się na twarzy nie uszły uwadze zwierzęcia. Niedźwiedź powoli złagodniał, jakby zrozumiał, że nowo przybyły nie chce wyrządzić krzywdy. Z delikatną zmianą w zachowaniu odwrócił się, dając Hannie i Peterowi niemal czytelny znak, by poszli za nim.
