Gdy Hanna i Steve podchodzili coraz bliżej pokoju, ich uszy przeszył głęboki, pełen bólu ryk – to był czysty dźwięk cierpienia. Wyciągnęła ostrożnie rękę, próbując zdobyć zaufanie zwierzęcia, ale zanim zdążyła się zbliżyć, niedźwiedź szczerzył zęby w ostrzegawczym geście. Było to dla niej wyraźne i brutalne przypomnienie – są granice, których przekroczyć nie wolno i to pod żadnym warunkiem.
