When a teacher hits the limit of his patience, we’d better believe creativity kicks in. This instructor had it up to here with the antics and his solution. A jar labeled “students’ tears,” a clear sign he’s collecting the salty results of his classroom policies. Maybe it’s a deterrent, maybe it’s just a new classroom accessory, but one thing is clear: he’s not messing around anymore.
It has a certain flair that could only come from the seasoned veterans of chalk dust wars. You have to wonder where he got that jar—and whether the kids are now sitting up straighter in their seats, trying not to add to the collection.
