Jorge Garcia
Der US-amerikanische Schauspieler Jorge Garcia wurde bekannt durch Erfolgsserien wie “Hawaii Five-O” und “Lost”, in denen sein Übergewicht Teil seiner Charaktere war. Einst wog er bis zu 400 Pfund (etwa 181 Kilogramm), doch eine dringende Warnung seines Arztes motivierte ihn, seinen Lebensstil zu ändern. Auch seine Rolle in “Lost” verlangte eine Gewichtsabnahme. Garcia entschied sich deshalb, Veganer zu werden und vollständig auf eine pflanzliche Ernährung umzusteigen.
Diese Ernährungsumstellung half ihm, nicht nur Gewicht zu verlieren, sondern auch seine allgemeine Gesundheit zu verbessern. Mit viel Disziplin schaffte er es, über 45 Kilogramm abzunehmen. Heute wirkt Garcia deutlich fitter und zeigt, dass eine bewusste Lebensweise große Veränderungen bewirken kann.
