Ein seltsames Wiedersehen
Zu ihrer Überraschung war die Frau, die Marian nun sah, kaum wiederzuerkennen. Anstelle der zerlumpten, schwangeren Bettlerin saß da eine gepflegte, elegant gekleidete Dame im dunkelblauen Anzug. Der Unterschied war verblüffend, doch eines war gleich geblieben: der sichtbare Schwangerschaftsbauch.
Marian war verwirrt. Wie konnte das sein? Hatte sie sich das alles nur eingebildet, oder spielte die Frau ein doppeltes Spiel? War sie etwa einer Trickbetrügerin aufgesessen? Doch warum war die Fremde ihr in die U-Bahn gefolgt? Oder war sie das gar nicht? Unzählige Fragen schossen Marian durch den Kopf, doch keine schien eine einfache Antwort zu haben.
