Als Marian auf die Uhr schaute, spürte sie einen Anflug von Stress. Eigentlich wollte sie der schwangeren Frau, die sie auf der Straße gesehen hatte, helfen. Doch ihr hektischer Tagesablauf machte ihr einen Strich durch die Rechnung. Sie musste noch ein paar Dinge auf den letzten Drücker besorgen, und in einer halben Stunde fuhr ihre U-Bahn. Jede Minute zählte.
Schon bevor sie auf die Bettlerin gestoßen war, hetzte sie durch die Straßen, und jetzt musste sie sich entscheiden. Konnte sie es sich leisten, hier noch länger zu bleiben? Nein, sie war ohnehin schon knapp dran!
