Du spazierst durch den Flughafen und plötzlich öffnet sich vor dir das Tor zum Gepäckparadies – oder ist es das Bermudadreieck der Koffer? Am Sacramento Airport wirst du Zeuge eines spektakulären Anblicks: Die Samson Gepäckskulptur ragt gigantisch in die Höhe, bestehend aus mehr als 700 Koffern! Eine visionäre Installation, die jeden verlorenen Gepäcktraum überflügelt.
Dort stapeln sich die Koffer bis zur Decke, in Harmonie, ohne ein einziges Wimmern von zerbrechlichen Souvenirs. Man könnte meinen, es sei die Rache der Koffer für all die Male, die sie auf Reisen vom Band stürzten oder in der Ecke eines Hotelzimmers vergessen wurden. Aber keine Sorge, hier fliegt kein Gepäckstück davon. Es sei denn, du glaubst an schwebende Koffer!
