Lexi wagt sich heute jeden Tag auf neues Terrain. Obwohl sie früher große Angst vor Wasser und den Tieren darin hatte, überwand sie ihren Mut und stieg ins Kajak. Die Horrorszenarien, die sie sich ausgemalt hatte, blieben natürlich aus, und stattdessen entdeckte sie eine neue Leidenschaft.
Für Lexi war das Beste am Abnehmen nicht die Zahl auf der Waage, sondern die Freiheit, all die Dinge auszuprobieren, die vorher nicht möglich waren. Ihr Leben erweiterte sich durch die neuen Erlebnisse, die ihr früher undenkbar erschienen, und eine Welt voller Möglichkeiten tat sich vor ihr auf.
