Bob Newhart es bien conocido por su humor inexpresivo, convirtiéndose en uno de los comediantes más disfrutados de Estados Unidos. Newhart se jacta de haber depositado en su banco un total de 25 millones de dólares a lo largo de su carrera. Hace poco hizo una aparición en la recién concluida serie de comedia The Big Bang Theory.
