Eine trügerische Ruhe
Obwohl Greg nach außen hin klare Grenzen gesetzt hatte, ließ ihn das ungute Gefühl nicht los, dass das Thema noch nicht abgeschlossen war. Er verbrachte mehrere Nächte wach im Bett, während ihm die Sorge um seinen Pool keine Ruhe ließ. Es war merkwürdig, dass die Nachbarn seine Entscheidung so schnell akzeptiert hatten. Leider entpuppten sich seine Sorgen als begründet, denn schon bald bemerkte er, was wirklich vor sich ging.
Einige Wochen später musste er geschäftlich für einige Tage verreisen. Mit einem beruhigten Gefühl, dass nun alle Nachbarn seine Grenzen respektierten, verließ er das Haus. Doch ahnte er nicht, dass seine Abwesenheit genau das war, worauf einige gewartet hatten.
