Einige Tage später beschloss Greg, seine Nachbarn auf die Probe zu stellen. Er erwähnte beiläufig, dass er und Jeanne am Wochenende verreisen würden, obwohl sie lediglich für ein paar Stunden die Stadt verlassen wollten. Durch diese Botschaft konnten sie sich sicher fühlen und versuchen, den Pool erneut zu nutzen. Als Greg und Jeanne am späten Nachmittag zurückkehrten, bestätigte sich sein Verdacht: Die Kinder von Sandra tollten mit ihrem Hund fröhlich im Pool. Greg beobachtete die Szene aus sicherer Entfernung und war diesmal nicht nur Augenzeuge, sondern hatte dank der Kameras auch bildliche Beweise in der Hand. Nun war er bestens vorbereitet, um seine Nachbarin endgültig zur Verantwortung zu ziehen.
