Hij startte zijn loopbaan toen hij stage liep voor Quote en is sedert 1993 de editor in chief van het tijdschrift. Slechts deze functie levert hem 20.000 euro op! Het voornoemde bedrag is wel gelijkgesteld aan zijn brutoloon. Uiteraard, mag Jort er best wel tevreden over zijn dat hij nog 9000 euro over houdt. Dan nog andere verdiensten van al zijn klusjes zoals programma’s op de televisie en al zijn verschijningen via de beeldbuis. Het zal niks verbazingwekkend zijn wanneer het maandinkomen van Jort toch meer is dan wij vermoeden!
