Hij was de zanger van de geweldigste en prachtigste nummers zoals De Waarheid, Afscheid Nemen Bestaat Niet en Voorbij. Marco en zijn toenmalige echtgenote brachten samen drie kinderen groot, warana ze in 2020 besloten om uit elkaar te gaan. Na een paar keren over de kop gegaan te zijn, verdient Borsato toch een vrij hoog salaris , mede dankzij de televisie en autersvergoedingen.
