Jennifer Beals nasceu em Chicago, em 1963. Ela é mais conhecida por aparecer no icônico filme Flashdance, onde mostrou seus melhores movimentos de dança. Depois que o filme foi lançado, sua popularidade disparou, mas decidiu retornar a Yale para terminar seus estudos. Jennifer apareceu em um episódio da série de TV Lei & Ordem, onde desempenhou o papel de uma advogada. Seu sucesso nunca mais foi o mesmo depois dos anos 80 apesar de um remake do seu filme mais famoso ter sido feito alguns anos depois. Flashdance é lembrado até hoje pelos seus fãs.
