The Timing Couldn’t Have Been More Perfect For These Clicks!
The Standoff
Being in the wild comes with its own perks; one can get to hang out with nature, enjoy the fresh air while at the same time, witness some exciting events like this one. Although, of course, it’s normal for creatures to fight, it mostly happens between beings of the same species, but we have never seen a hummingbird in a standoff with an insect that looks like a wasp.
It could be that one invaded the other’s flower for nectar, making it a dispute between the flying creatures, but it sure does look pretty tense from where we’re sitting. How it ended, we may never know, and the person who took this picture should win a wildlife award for it.
