The Celebrity Halloween Party Outfits That Turned Into a Full-Blown Fetish Parade
Bette Midler as Flower & Elton John as Vampire
This is the vintage celebrity Halloween moment we all need to appreciate. Forget the tired, overdone looks of today. Back in the day, when Bette Midler and Elton John teamed up, they gave us a costume pairing that was truly inspired.
We’re talking about Bette as an over-the-top, glorious Flower, rocking a massive, ruffled headpiece and a shimmering outfit that makes her look like a couture floral arrangement. Her partner in crime, Elton, went as a classic, impeccably dressed Vampire, who had just finished a bloody meal! She first gained fame through her Broadway breakthrough in the 1970s, while he became a global legend after his 1970 hit, “Your Song.”
