The year was 2014, and in the heart of New York City, Rihanna arrived at The Raven nightclub on October 31 dressed as Raphael from the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”. What makes this costume stand out is how she went all out with green-tinted skin, and she even got two friends to dress up as Nina Turtles, as well.
Rihanna first gained fame with her 2005 single “Pon de Replay” and has since become a global pop-culture icon and business powerhouse. In this photo, she confidently leads her turtle squad with a smirk and large, pointed metal truncheons in hand, which are an Okinawan martial arts weapon.
