Judy Finnigan – Born in 1948
For years, Judy Finnigan felt like everyone’s favourite TV friend. She became a household name alongside her husband, Richard Madeley, when they co-hosted “This Morning” on ITV, starting in 1988. Their warm, relatable style made daytime television feel like a chat in your own living room.
After more than a decade, the duo launched “Richard & Judy” on Channel 4 in 2001, where they introduced the hugely popular “Richard & Judy Book Club,” turning authors into overnight stars. Away from television, Judy also found success as a novelist, publishing her first book, “Eloise,” in 2012. She remains one of Britain’s most beloved broadcasters.
