When Sandie Shaw stepped onto the stage barefoot, she didn’t just start a trend; she started a revolution in pop. With her signature style and a voice made for the 1960s, she became one of Britain’s brightest stars. In 1967, she made history by winning the Eurovision Song Contest with “Puppet on a String,” marking the UK’s first-ever victory.
