Lorraine Kelly – Born in 1959
There’s something wonderfully reassuring about Lorraine Kelly’s voice greeting viewers over breakfast. She became one of Britain’s best-loved presenters after joining ITV’s “TV-am” in the 1980s, quickly winning hearts with her warmth and down-to-earth charm. By 1993, she had her own morning show, simply titled “Lorraine,” which became a staple of British television.
Over the years, she’s interviewed everyone from Hollywood stars to everyday heroes and earned an OBE in 2012 for her services to broadcasting and charity. Beyond the studio lights, Lorraine is known for her humour, kindness, and that signature Scottish sparkle that makes every morning feel brighter.
