The British Celebs With One Foot In The Grave And A Martini
Pam St. Clement – Born in 1942
Few soap stars are as unforgettable as Pam St. Clement, the woman who brought life to Pat Butcher in “EastEnders.” With her giant earrings, leopard prints, and sharp one-liners, Pat became one of the show’s most iconic characters from 1986 until her dramatic exit in 2012. Before her Walford fame, she trained at Rose Bruford College and worked in theatre and television dramas like “Within These Walls.”
Off-screen, she’s known for her animal welfare work and open-hearted personality. When Pat slammed the Queen Vic door for the last time, a true era of British television came to an end, but Pam’s legacy has remained firmly in place.
