Susan Tully – Born in 1968
Susan Tully grew up on British television, first winning hearts as rebellious Suzanne Ross in the hit school drama “Grange Hill” during the 1980s. But it was her role as Michelle Fowler in “EastEnders” that made her a household name. From 1985 to 1995, she played one of the show’s most talked-about characters, known for powerful storylines that often pushed social boundaries.
After leaving acting, she reinvented herself behind the camera, directing top shows like “The Bill,” “Line of Duty,” and “Tin Star.” Few child stars make such a smooth transition, but Susan proved she could shine both in front of and behind the lens.
