Może i jest supermodelką, ale Cindy Crawford jest również bardzo mądra. W 1984 r. modelka otrzymała stypendium akademickie na studia inżynierii chemicznej na Northwestern University. Jednak po jednym semestrze zrezygnowała z wyższego wykształcenia aby rozwinąć swoją karierę w modelingu. Jej międzynarodowe sukcesy w tej dziedzinie pomogły jej w spróbowaniu swoich sił w aktorstwie.
