W stronę świateł miasta
Bez zbędnych pytań kobieta zgodziła się zabrać go ze sobą. Jej serdeczność rozbroiła wszelkie jego wątpliwości i obawy. Okazało się, że ich trasa i tak prowadziła w tę samą stronę, więc podjęcie decyzji nie sprawiło jej trudności. Jonathan wsiadł ostrożnie, starając się nie zostawić mokrych śladów we wnętrzu auta, bo deszcz nie ustępował nawet na moment. Atmosfera w samochodzie była spokojna, a jego napięcie zaczynało powoli topnieć. I właśnie wtedy usłyszał coś niepokojącego – dźwięk z tylnej części pojazdu. Obrócił głowę i z zaskoczeniem odkrył, że nie są jedynymi pasażerami. Widok towarzysza podróży wprawił go w zdziwienie i wywołał nieoczekiwany dreszcz emocji.
