Luego vinieron otras obras como Reina roja y Loba negra, que terminaron por consolidarlo como escritor de renombre. En el amor está casado con el amor de su vida, la también escritora Bárbara Montes, a quien conoció hace más de 10 años. Juntos son una de las parejas de escritores más importantes de la actualidad.
