Nina Hartley – Age 63
It’s difficult for women to work in the male-dominated field of erotica films. However, Nina Hartley was not one to follow the norms of society, and she had already decided at the age of 17 that she wanted to work in this field.
In 1984, Hartley made adult film acting her full-time job, a vocation she had begun six years earlier while she was still in nursing school. Hartley’s fame skyrocketed, and she toured adult bookstores and appeared in X-rated movies well into her 50s. Hartley has been on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show,’ as well as in career-focused documentaries.
