Mel Brooks – Born In 1926
Mel Brooks is an EGOT! No, it’s not an insult—on the contrary, it’s an accolade—it signifies that he’s an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award winner! He kicked off his career as a comedian before going on into acting. A famous piece of his work was in The Producers, a Broadway musical.
His son, Nicky, actually followed in his dad’s footsteps and went into the same industry as a film producer! It runs in the blood! Brooks and Anne Bancroft, his late wife, had a son together, Max, who is also an actor.
