La cantante, actriz y bailarina Mitzi Gaynor, de 86 años de edad, es famosa por haber aparecido en There’s No Business Like Show Business en 1954, así como en Pacífico Sur cuatro años después. Pero estos no son sus únicos papeles notables. También protagonizó el musical biopic Golden Girl y consiguió un papel principal en Three Young Texans en 1954.
También protagonizó una serie de especiales de televisión desde 1968 y acumuló un patrimonio neto de 50 millones de dólares. El hecho de que sea una leyenda es evidente en programas como The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel que hacen referencia a ella.
