Larry Bird and Dinah Mattingly – 34 Years
Life finds a way to bring two people together if they are meant to be, like Larry Bird and Dinah Mattingly. Even though the former ‘NBA’ player and coach had met her during their college days studying at Indiana State University, they began dating only in the late ’80s before marrying in 1989.
It was a second marriage for Larry, and decades after their happy union, he still adores his wife. While the basketball legend has lived most of his life in the limelight, Dinah is a private person, choosing to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible. We seldom see her attending public events alongside her famous husband.
