With all the jokes of the ‘Tonight Show’ host, he goes all serious with discussions around love and marriage. Versing it like Romeo, Jay Leno proclaims that by marrying the person we wish we could have been, bliss is right on the corner. He has held on to the same mantra for over four decades, with his forever ladylove, Mavis Nicholson.
Tying the knot due to insurance policy might’ve been anti-climatic for any romance story. Yet, the duo married with no grand gestures or an engagement ring in a simple wedding ceremony in 1980 just because Jay wanted his wife to access the policy. Though the doting pair don’t have kids, they seem happy and secure in their chosen path.
