Hollywood Golden Age Stars Who Are Still With US
Arlene Dahl – Age 93
Arlene Dahl rose to stardom when she signed a contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. She landed the lead role in 1948’s The Bride Goes Wild and went on to appear in a number of movies in the next few years as a lead actress. By the ’70s, Arlene became a director of a beauty products line with $750K in annual earnings.
She later faced some financial difficulties and even declared bankruptcy in 1981. But we have no doubt that she eventually recovered since she wrote many books on beauty and astrology after that.
