Caren Marsh-Doll – Age 100
Caren Marsh-Doll capitalized on her resemblance to Judy Garland by playing Judy’s dance double in The Wizard of Oz and also in Ziegfeld Girl. She was a dancer at a young age and so she was quite talented on her toes. For her work in Ziegfeld Girl, she was given ‘the’ ruby red slippers!
A devastating airplane accident – from which she recovered, thankfully – led to her leading a career as an instructor later in her life. Actress Dorothy Morris, her sister, was also her neighbor up until Morris passed away in 2011.
