June Brown – Age 95
June Brown played Dot Cotton in the popular TV show on BBC, Eastenders. She played the role between 1985 and 2020 though she took a four-year break in-between. Another six-month break in 2012 was used to write her autobiography, titled Before the Year Dot.
Brown even earned an MBE for the contributions she has made to charity and in drama. She may be in her 90s, but her career is still alive and kicking. She even did directorial work for a stage play called Double D, and in 2016, she was on the TV film Ethel and Ernest. We bet her fans would want to see more of her.
