Tina Turner – Age 79

One of the greatest global female rock stars to achieve commercial success is Tina Turner who’s had six decades worth of plentiful hits that made her The Queen of Rock and Roll! Every single album or song that Tina had ever recorded had virtually raked in massive earnings, selling over 200 million copies all over the world. Tina’s all-out talent had also gotten her 12 Grammy Awards apart from being ranked 17th on Rolling Stone’s rundown of the world’s 100 greatest singers. We’re all fools in love with the one and only Tina Turner!

 

Sidney Poitier – Age 92

Sidney Poitier led the way for Bahamian-American actors. He is an international film star that went from theatre to on-screen Academy Award-winning actor. He was the first African American actor to have won the prestigious award. After his retirement from the acting scene, he went into recording an album, directing and then became a diplomat. He was granted the British knighthood and a Presidential Medal of Freedom. Poitier has been at the forefront of speaking up against racism at various events and he also lends his efforts to charitable work.

 

Ann-Margret – Age 78

The gorgeous Swede, Ann-Margret, conquered hearts through her talent in musical films. But perhaps it was her stunning looks showcased in Bye Bye Birdie and Viva Las Vegas that brought her the strongest rise in fame. She also recorded plenty of songs – from gospel to musicals. Her affair with Elvis Presley did great for her popularity, too. She doesn’t have kids of her own but she was the stepmother of three of her late husband Roger Smith’s children. No need for a credit attorney for this woman – she’s reaping the benefits of her hard work!
