Durch den Blockbuster Grease wurde Olivia Newton-John bekannt, als sie den Bildschirm-Partner von John Travolta spielte.
Abseits von ihrem Talent für das Schauspiel hat sie auch ein Talent fürs Singen und ist eine der Sänger die am meisten verkauften worden sind. Weltweit hat sie über 100 Millionen Platten verkauft und hat sich damit ein gutes, solides Vermögen aufbauen können. Bei dem Geld braucht sie sich sicherlich keinerlei Sorgen machen um ihre Versicherungen, was sie denn als nächsten tragen möchte und all das was ein Mensch begehren kann. Das hält sie aber nicht davon ab ihre Meinungen zu Sachen wie Tierrechte und der Umwelt preiszugeben.
