Andrea Sawatzki zählt heute ganz ohne Frage zu einer der bekanntesten Schauspielstars des deutschsprachigen Raumes. Der Darstellerin gelang im Jahr 1997 der große Durchbruch, als sie ihr Publikum mit einer Rolle in dem Film „Die Apothekerin” begeistern konnte.
