Wer kennt sie nicht, die Pool-Szene aus Fast Times at Ridgemont – genau darum geht es jetzt. Phoebe Cates ist ein ehemaliges Model, Sängerin und Schauspielerin und durch die angesprochene Szene mutierte sie zu einem Star über Nacht. Auch wenn es über all die Jahre gute und schlechte Zeiten gab, gab es ausschließlich gute Zeiten für eine Sache bei ihr, nämlich ihr tolles Aussehen.
Auch wenn sie nicht mehr der Teenager ist wie damals in den 80ern, ist sie mindestens genauso anschaulich wie damals schon. Erblicken kann man sie innerhalb von Filmen wie Date With an Angel, Drop Dead Fred, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, Gremlins und auch Private School.
